See the sun rise or set from a hot air balloon. Take off from the  Inn’s property and experience
a romantic fantasy adventure as you drift quietly along in one of the oldest forms of air travel.

Kayak down the Rapidan or Robinson River

Rapidan River Kayak Compay  is located on the scenic Rapidan River in Orange, just two miles from Westwood.  Offering small group instruction and tours on the Rapidan and other local rivers and lakes. We provide boats, paddles, and safety gear.

Kayaking down the Rapidan   $60.00 per/person

This is a two to three hour paddle down the scenic Rapidan River from below the Spicer’s Mill dam to the Rte. 15 bridge at Madison Mills. We will kayak approximately 4.5 miles down river through mild rapids and relaxing flats.  No experience necessary.
All equipment is provided. 

Note: Swimsuit or shorts and shirt in warm weather. If temperature is cool, add layers that can be shed as the day warms. Shoes are REQUIRED. Wear water shoes, water sandals, or old athletic shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, water and snack.

Wine tasting in the beautiful Central Virginia countryside with a designated driver. Enjoy the luxury and convenience of a Six Hour Central Virginia Wine Tour. Your Central Virginia Wine Tour driver will arrive at the front door of the Inn, you'll spend the day touring Virginia’s finest wineries and/or breweries, then return you safely to your final destination. Call us and we'll be delighted to arrange your tour.
